There's no WPA2 on the card, just WPA and WPA-PSK: WPA-PSK was the only setting that would let me enter a network key.I had TKIP and AES as options there, but cipher type is AES on the router, so I chose that.
You may notice that the “Truman Secure Wireless” network has been found, but due to specific settings needed for a complete connection to the Truman Network this will not allow a proper connection. – A free virus program courtesy of Truman State can be downloaded here.* You will not be prompted for your username and password or to validate the server certificate every time you connect.
These are only needed when you first setup the wireless connection.
Uncheck Varify the server’s identity by validating the certificate, then click the Configure button. Make sure the Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any) checkbox is unchecked.
Check Specify Authentication mode and choose User Authentication.
However, if the model or the firmware version does not support Certificate Configuration yet, we may set up the Windows client not to verify the server's identity, and still do 802.1X authentication with Vigor Router or Vigor AP.
However, since version 1.1.7, Vigor AP supports Certificate Configuration which can generate the required certificate itself, and use it for 802.1X authentication.
Click OK to close miis Wireless Network properties.
Enter your username and password (same as your email account). The username should be “MIDD\your_username”(MIDD\tsmith for example) You should now be connected to the miis network!
